McKesson Corporation has announced the pre-release sale of Medisoft version 20.  Medisoft v20 will offer many enhancements to help the physicians office automate billing and patient registration.
The new software comes  with a patient kiosk - patients will be able to enter their demographic and billing information through a handheld computer.  Patients will be able to review HIPPA forms and sign electronically .

Enhanced ICD-10 coding options with a  mapping tool based on CMS’s General Equivalent Mappings (GEM to translate some ICD9 codes to ICD-10).
